INEPE, an association supported by the Long Term Collections since its first steps (LTC projects 23, 45, 68 and end of year donations 2024, 2025), has recently been awarded The UNESCO King Sejong Literacy Prize, sponsored by the Government of the Republic of Korea, whihch recognizes contributions to mother language-based literacy development. In the communicate, UNESCO awards the prize to :

• The Literacy to Foster Critical Awareness and Care for Life and the Planet with INEPE’s Children and Adolescents programme by the Institute for Research, Education and Popular Promotion of Ecuador (INEPE), Ecuador.  The programme is recognized for its community-based approach to fostering literacy and digital skills through participatory and intergenerational learning.

L'INEPE, une association soutenue par les Collecties à Long Terme depuis ses débuts (projets CLT nrs. 23, 45, 68 et contributions fin année en 2024, 2025), a récemment reçu le Prix d'alphabétisation UNESCO-Roi Sejong, parrainé par le gouvernement de la République de Corée, qui récompense les contributions au développement de l'alphabétisation en langue maternelle. Dans ce communiqué, l'UNESCO décerne ce prix à :

• Le programme pour l'alphabétisation pour favoriser la conscience critique et la protection de la vie et de la planète, qui fait partie du domaine d'activité Enfants et Adolescents mis en œuvre par l'Institut de recherche, d'éducation et de promotion populaire de l'Équateur (INEPE). Ce programme est reconnu pour son approche communautaire visant à promouvoir l'alphabétisation et les compétences numériques par le biais d'un apprentissage participatif et intergénérationnel.
